    Ticking sound from x-pipe.

    Ever since I have put my x-pipe on my car, there has been a slight ticking sound coming from it below 1,500 rpm. Above that it goes away. My friends 91 GT with the same x-pipe also exhibits this behavior. Does this sound like a leak or is it common for catted x-pipes to do this?

    3.55's

    I like my 3.73's with my auto. Nice for daily driving and the car still hauls when the pedal is planted to the floor. You are going from 3.27's, so go with 4.10's. I had 4.10's in my previous mustang and they were a really nice gear, especially if you are not on the highway alot.

    My Bassani catted x-pipe paired with Magnaflow catback is plenty loud when I step on it. Just get a catted midpipe and be done with it imo. :shrug: Sorry that happend to you though. :(

    Congrats. MAC catbacks sound killer. I had one on my '91 LX and I really liked the sound. Hopefully I will like my Magnaflows paired with my Bassani x-pipe. :nice:

    So when you say you flash stalled it from idle you just floored it from a stop right? :shrug: I think 3,000 is ok also... I went with a 2,600-2,800 because if I keep my automatic, I know I'm going to have to get another one made down the road anyway. I didn't want a stall set up for a h/c/i...

    I could have sworn Andre told me I have a 2,800 stall. Regardless, I am very happy with my edge converter. I went from a 15.2@90 mph to a [email protected] mph.
