    Steeda spring w/stock shocks, struts...

Do my pics look slick? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2071960

    Installation time?

Braggart. LOL. I was working at a nice, easy pace, & taking plenty of water/Gatorade breaks & being interrupted by phone calls. Oh, & sorry, I forgot to mention that I also installed my C&L MAF System during that time span. Also, in order for me to get to the bolt on the top of my...

    Installation time?

I'm no mechanic. It took me 9 hours to install H&R Springs on my Stang yesterday. If you've never done it before, I would not recommend doing it yourself. It would be nice if you had a Mustang buddy who could help you. The only reason I did the install virtually myself yesterday was cuz I'd...

    Installation time?

You could try doing it yourself. I've installed Springs & CC Plates on a 2000 GT a couple years back w/ a buddy & just yesterday I installed Springs on my Stang, mostly by myself. I think 1.5 hours per corner is very realistic.

    Steeda spring w/stock shocks, struts...

Not only do the stock shocks/struts wear out quicker because of not being able to effectively dampen the increased spring rate, another thing that wears them out quicker is because of the simple fact that they were designed to have a certain amount of compression while your car is standing still...

Another one on the H&R SS Springs bandwagon

They are unfortunately high. But I've actually lost a lot of interest in the track. My car hooks better on the street for some reason & I've heard that about the Nittos. When I get serious about the track again, probably some time next year, I'll be running slicks.

Another one on the H&R SS Springs bandwagon

I didn't have some of my mods the last time I went to the track. Also, the track here ain't great & it's so freaking hot all the time. Everybody's times there are killed. There was a guy only running low to mid 13s in his Lightning & he actually does know how to drive. I also don't launch that...

    Traction Lock question in here.......

Dude, something is majorly wrong if you have ABS/TC but can't defeat the TC. Does a green wheel-looking light come on in your guage cluster when you try to do a burnout? & is your car an A4 or M5?

    Traction Lock question in here.......

If you know how to drive your Stang, the only time you'll ever miss TC is on ice.

    Traction Lock question in here.......

Sinister, all Mustangs come w/ TractionLok Rear Differentials. That is not something you can enable/disable. What you're referring to is the Traction Control feature. Honestly, I am not sure if the module is in your car at all. If you don't have Traction Control, you also likely don't have...

Another one on the H&R SS Springs bandwagon

Well, the H&Rs are in. I completed it yesterday. The pics are in the link in my sig & here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2071960. Sorry the pics are so small. I can't figure out how to enlarge them w/out losing their resolution.

Who knows about Maxspeed, Intrax, SpringTech, Tenzo-R, & Canuck Motorsports Springs?

I don't like the drop I got w/ the Steedas. I should probably put this to rest though, since I have H&R SuperSport Springs on the way. They should do just fine.

Who knows about Maxspeed, Intrax, SpringTech, Tenzo-R, & Canuck Motorsports Springs?

Do they suck? How are they performance-wise stacked up against Springs like Eibach, Steeda, H&R, etc?

Who knows about Maxspeed, Intrax, SpringTech, Tenzo-R, & Canuck Motorsports Springs?

Curious because I am contemplating getting one of those brands & I just want to know if anybody has prior experience with these. I found them all on E-bay.

Mach 1 '0 and '04 owners, how many miles per gallon does your Mach 1 get?

I get about 11 in the city. I know; I need a tune bad.

Has Anyone Been Pulled Over Or Ticketed For Running An Offroad X Pipe

A good midpipe is a BBK O/R X-pipe. Mine's held up great & been on a year. The headers are still shiny too. But if you really want 'sound' you she get an O/R H-pipe. You can't beat their sound. And as far as getting pulled over for exhaust being too loud, you shouldn't have to hurry unless you...

Mach 1 What kind of mileage does a Mach 1 get ?

I get 11mpg but I rarely hit the highway. I can go over a week w/out touching the highway & usually fill my tank more than once before ever venturing onto the highway. My car also desperately needs a tune. When I get on the highway I increase my mileage to about 21mpg.

    Removing tan/brown spots?

Those spots are rail dust. They are very difficult to remove. They are seen mostly on white cars, as there are still a few on my white Stang. How they get there? When the cars are riding the rails & the trains slow down the breaks kick up hot rail dust that sits on the cars & burns into the...

    GT to Mach 1?

The point was missed again I see. Also, I've read every single post on this thread & honestly don't recall anybody talking about the LS1 being a mid-high 13 second car until you mentioned it. Therefore, those words came out of your own mouth. Speaking from experience perhaps. Also about you...
