Need help with EGR related issues

Sounds like there is vacuum leak somewhere in the EGR system. Probably melted or cracked vacuum line due to age. Once there is an issue some where in the EGR system it will get all sorts of codes (incorrect readings). It's why changing the EGR did nothing, it's no the culprit. If not obvious...

    Need help with PCV delete

I would not be happy driving behind you with oil splatter on my windshield. Put that drain in some sort of can, jar, bottle or whatever you can find. Just put a hose fitting on it and that's where the oil will land. I've seen cool catch cans in engine bays, vintage oil cans, old glass jars...

    Need help with PCV delete

If it's N/A a breather on the passenger side valve cover is enough vent. If you go this route I would think capping the PCV is fine. Now if you're forced induction a catch can is ideal. Although I did have to do a catch can on my 347 Stroker. Had oil in the throttle body area and catch can...

Need advice other than its a ford.my son purchased a 94 mustang gt 5.0 he was driving earlier and it dies now no fire

Make sure the plugs are firing. I've run into this issue before. In fact my car was running rough, not on all 8 cylinders so I took them out one at a time to find if I had spark. It's here in this video. Once you established spark then move onto fuel. Key on and make sure you hear the fuel...

Progress Thread “Rising from Ashes 2” 95 Saleen S-351 build

Seems so odd someone would Un-Saleen this car back to a standard GT. Didn't Saleen use their own Caster / Camber plates? They changed the suspension back to stock? That red sway bar looks like an ADCO, Steeda and Saleen sold these.

    95 gt

That is milkshake, when coolant mixes with water. The coolant breaks down the oil and the liquid becomes thinner than oil. In turn if driven like this for a while without proper lubrication in the block, it will cause damage. This "fresh 308" could be in trouble. I'd suspect whoever did...

    95 gt

The coolant color won't change of course. Pull a plug, see what they look like. Coolant will probably come out of one or more depending on which side of the motor went.

    95 gt

Ford Explorers from 1996-2001 Ford Explorers had 5.0 engines. Lots to find at salvage yards. Grab the entire assembly since they come with GT40 style intake and heads. They are extremely affordable and most have several. Some even came with 4:10 rearend which drag racers snag up for backup.

    95 gt

Sounds like the head gasket. If the oil is milkshake the coolant is now entering the block hence the color of the oil. Since it needs to be torn down for head gaskets you may want to think to refresh the block or buy new (upgrade) if the block has high mileage. The white smoke is also an...

    Wheels?

17" Ponies are my favorite on Coupe's in either matte or chrome finish.

    95 gt

Have someone stand behind the car during a cold start up. See what color smoke comes out of either tailpipe. Is the dipstick popping up under load? I assume you're adding oil every once in a while? How many miles?

The bible on what to change while the motor is out?

The norm as mentioned. Rear main seal Clutch (if old) Flywheel (if heated) Motor Mounts (if trashed) I went a little further because I have OCD. Here was my list: Booster - mine was rusted, had no idea either. Changed the booster and master cylinder at the same time. Painted the booster in...

    Unknown connector

Car isn't starting with out the other side. Unfortunately for you that other side of that connector you need is in a 94-98 Mustang. You're gonna have to find one at a salvage yard and take it out yourself. Maybe you can find one already removed. I assume you're also missing the harness...
