    Garbage gas mileage, 10mpg

and my milage is 12 city /22+ highway at about 3000 rpm. Off topic but hey Michael, or anyone else who may know, does a car get better milage closer to peak tq or lower in the rpm range? I would think lower in the rpm range since air + fuel = power but i dont know.

    Garbage gas mileage, 10mpg

and my car has ALWAYS had bad cold starts, even when i was just about stock. Actually, now it cold starts better than when it was stock. Also, maybe thats not the only sensor thats being affected voltage wise when the fan is on.

    Cylinder Head ?????

if your ok with spendin the extra money, go with the AFR's. Will the 185 AFR's clear the pistons fine on the stock shortblock? I always thought they didnt. 26cfm is a lot and im sure under the exhaust curve they flow much better as well. if your tryin to compare the TFS heads, i think its more...

pulled distritbutor, replaced without setting at TDC.

ive been shocked before touching a spark plug wire while the car was running. you can also try puttin in the distributor when the timing mark is at about 10* or so. make sure the rotor is pointing towards cyl #1 on the cap. if it doesnt start, take the distributor out and turn the motor over...

    new motor dies at idle....

does it supposed to go to 5v at WOT? mine goes to about 4.4. also, way back when, my car used to die ALL THE TIME when i would be coming to a complete stop. this was right after i did heads/intake/cam with a BBK 65mm TB. it was completely cured with a 1/4 in. hole in the TB butterfly. helped me.

    Just got my cutouts installed!!

ive ran cutouts for a few years now. with bolt ons I used it pretty much everyday, but now with heads/intake/cam + all the other mods, it can be obnoxiously loud at times. I like pulling up to C5's or other fast V8's at a light, the car does sound mean as fuuck at idle with the lope from the cam...

1 wire powermaster alternator on 87

I had a 140amp PowerMaster before but ran the one wire setup. I would just run the 3G set up, charges better at idle, its a better alt IMO. The powermaster would not turn on/activate untill the car first revs to about 2000. which isnt a problem either. but the voltage regulator ended up going...
