AFR and TFS Head ???

Im going to be purchasing a set of heads soon, either AFR185's or TrickFlow Track Heats. The AFR flows roughly 26 cfm more then the TFS Heads on Intake, and both are roughly the same 192cfm exhaust at .600 lift.
Heads will be used with a TFS Stage 2 cam!!!

1.Would it be worth to spend the extra $$$ for the AFR's?
2.Roughly how much more HP is the 26cfm worth, keeping in mind exhaust
cfm is identicle on both heads?

This is for a Novi2000 blown applicatio 12psi

THANK YOU

if your ok with spendin the extra money, go with the AFR's. Will the 185 AFR's clear the pistons fine on the stock shortblock? I always thought they didnt. 26cfm is a lot and im sure under the exhaust curve they flow much better as well. if your tryin to compare the TFS heads, i think its more fair to compare to the AFR 165's IMO.

Check out the flow figures on a lightly ported set of trick flows and you will see that they have LOTS of potential. where as the AFR's are already cnc'd so they are maxed out. But they are both really good heads. QDRHRSE do you still have those heads for sale?

I was thinking of the trackheat heads (better flow for a supercharger as in the original post)...and the AFR 185's can clear the stock pistons...but the cam has to be downgraded...but it is possible to clear it...without replacing the pistons...

The trackheats flow between the 165's and 185's...so you can compare to whatever you like...

i was comparin price wise. you can always find something better for more $$. and the track heats don't flow any better, they just have upgraded valvetrain hardware. i dont know why he would bother getting them if hes just using a b303 w/1.6's. He cant run too much bigger of a cam anyways witout clearancing issues.

I have a set of Trick Flow Track Heats and I love them. I choose Trick Flow instead of the AFR's because of there Twisted wedge design. Keep in mind that the Track Heats are not street legal because you can not mount the smog pump to them.
