    how many more amps will this pulley increase my alt. output???

    well... after the underdrives were put on the car, my lights are dimmin a little bit at idle... a local alt. shop said they can sell me a pulley for 20 bucks that will speed up the alt. 20%.... so how much more do you think this would increase the output at idle??? my amp likes to shut off from...

    ok... my dad did this to me once when he pulled the distrubutor... from what ive been told to proplerly set the timing, remove the plugs an stab a screwdriver down in the number 1 cylinder an turn the motor over untill it reaches TDC... Then put the dizzy back in with the pointer pointing...

    im trying to creep up as close to 300 rwhp... after some research ive come up with a little info... my world products windsor jrs flow 216/141 cfm intake/exhuast @ .600 lift and 204/135 @ .500 lift... turns out my lower intake isnt a gt40 its actually an explorer... which from what ive heard...

    are you sure it is heat soaked??? if you put a new one in, it sounds more or less like there is an amperage drop somewhere along the line... Have you replaced possibly the negative cable or positive going to the solenoid???

    im thinking about gettin my windsor jr's and gt40 intake ported to try an get some power outta this motor before the power adder... think i could get at much as 40 more horses from porting and polishing this??? i know when i had the lower off the gasket was a lot bigger then the port opening...

    does anybody have any proof that porting the lower will yeild that much power??? heads cant come off since its a daily driver, but the lower only takes a few mins to pull an i already got a grinder....

    got a heavy duty fan clutch with stock fan an shroud... alt. is going to be upgraded before i do the fan... 89 and 93 octane is all i run... depends on gas prices around here right now... 1.90 for 89 and 1.99 for 93 is gettin up there for a 17 year old high school student that works part time...

    14 * i didnt wanna go any higher since its really hot out down in texas right now an detenation is no bueno... we did lean it out quite a bit from what i had it at... gained 10 horse an 15 ft. lbs. of torque from it...

    well from what ive been told by numerous people my current setup should be putting down a little more then what it did.... air fuel was at 12.3 i believe all the way across the board...
