so im finally gonna upgrade my suspension!! just got a smokin deal on some lakewood 70/30's and 50/50's.... Currently my best 60 ft. time has been a 2.05 with bfg drag radials at like 15psi.... i have a little bit of a frame problem thats gonna be attended to hopefully friday and i think this may be the problem with such a horrible 60ft time... but then again i am still new to the drag racing scene... think this along with some 4 cyl springs will help out a whole lot??? hope the ride quality doesnt go down the toilet though... current setup is mac lowering springs all around with monroe replacement struts and gabriel shocks out back...

I've heard that 4 banger front springs are real good budget drag springs. I was going to get these but couldn't find any in good shape for a decent price. The 70/30's should really help your front get into the air but shouldn't hurt the street performance. I ordered 90/10's and 50/50's for my car with Moroso springs. The front Moroso springs gave me too much trouble so I'm going Coil overs. My best 60ft on Drag radials is 1.88. Launch is half the ET and the ET is what wins/looses the race.

couldnt have said it better!!! thats why i know my car is capable of running a lot faster then a 8.8 in the 1/8th... there is a guy at a local track with just a b cam, stock heads and track heat intake with bbk 65mm throttle body... put the 90/10's an 50/50's on it with moroso front springs no front sway bar etc... an is cutting a 1.6 60 ft. on all motor an a 1.41 on the juice... runs 8 flats all motor an 7.0001 on the juice... how are those springs on the street???
