    I just prefer to go the cheaper route to get faster .. yeah.. I do go rather agressive on all my 302 setups and the loss of low end and lack of accesories doesnt bother me when I get that time slip at the end of the track.. I dont mind sacrificing it in a 17 year old car for a little more...

    thread to the top... never heard about the oil pan.. I was under the impression all that is needed to be swapped over is if its a 98+ engine and you need to drop a dizzy in it.. existing motor mounts work right?

    I'm throwin an explorer motor in my 88 5.0 besides swapping MAF what is needed to drop this engine in here? I'm thinking of just doing springs/1.7rockers/B cam Mac Longtubes.. X pipe and with the existing flowmastercatback.. is there anything special/hard to do with this swap?

    I never had any of my 5.0's tuned.. I dont see it being worth the cash.. test n tune at your local track.. if you got a timing light.. and a FPR.. and know how to adjust your TPS I think youre okay..
