    new carb and intake runs like crap need some advice.

    Sounds like the timing is a little off. turn the engine on and let it warm up. unscrew the bolt that holds the Disy. turn your disy right or left it will smothin out. but to make it accuate you must use a timing light. good luck

    wth.... They are 4v heads. To my guess they are closed chamber heads if you look at the top left and right hand coner of the head when the valves on on the floor it will tell you if it is a 2 or 4 valve head

    If I were you I would do the install first. then add more later. When I got my motor rebuilt I had put a extra 1000 more into getting it to run nice. Stuff breaks fast and old stuff under the hood needs to be changed. just my .02 cents
