Carb To EFI Conversion

So i was at the local Pick&Pull today found alot of nice items and there have a sale this weekend so I need some help on feature upgrades.
I found a couple of EFI cars with 5.0 some 5.0HO, I was thinking If I could covert my carb to EFi it would be nice
Would the intank manifold fit on to my 289 heads?
If not would the heads off that car fit my 302 block?
What would I need to get from the car?

P.s there were alot of cars mostly Tarus and Contours and Tunderbirds also I found alot of 130amp alternators let me know if you need one.

Search the forum I'm fairly sure there were threads on an EFI swap on here. I have no idea about the 289 heads though

You should be able to use the 289 heads, although I'll admit that I've never tried it.

The 302 heads will definately fit.
