    Crown Vic diferential cover.....

I enjoy using and modifying factory parts whenever I can, so you're not the only one. I heard that the Supercoupes are supposed to have a vented aluminum cover, so it might be worth keeping an eye out for those. While were talking aluminum some years of Crown Vics have aluminum spares that...

1G to 3G alternator swap - Quick question

The reisistor is in the lower righthand corner of the diagram over the bulb. In the car its on the back of the gauge cluster. http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/fuel-alt-links-ign-ac.gif I thought the resistor had something to do with the battery light bulb.

The Knight Rider GT500 Paint job

I think foxes can look pretty sick with stripes, but you have to nail the width and spacing for them to look right, otherwise they'll look like crap. I would post up some pics of nicely striped foxes, but my computer is down.

1G to 3G alternator swap - Quick question

Use your voltmeter to find a 12v spot; the low coolant sensor or EVAP solenoid is a good place on an areo... IDK whats under the hood of a CFI car to tell you.

Can't seem to find a nice Fox.

 Look at that backspacing. If I get a SN95 car it would have to be a 32v.

    Sliding Ragtop? Anybody seen this?

BMW offered a sliding ragtop on one of their lower end cars in the late '90s early '00s. A stang isn't a silding rag kind of car, I don't think it would look to hot either.

    1st Post...Totaled 5.0 Notch ~PICS~

Man this is an old thread, I had to go back and re-read what I said. Its getting to the point where you have to go to AZ or TX to have a Fox around here. I think a cage would be "safe" if you wear a helmet... which you don't on the street. Maybe a 4pt wouldn't be that bad, only if you don't...

    Need some bright small foglights

Try doing a google search for Halogen Back-up Bulbs; they're 50 watts and should be plenty bright. Don't leave it in reverse too long or the taillight housings will probably melt. lol I had a set of those $20 Fogs from Wal-Mart before, they were small and pretty bright; they had blue lenses...

    The New Camaro

I saw a black one the other day, I thought it looked sinister. I love the Challengers looks, but they're friggen huge; I was sitting behind one on the Fox and I felt like I was behind a Dodge Ram. If I had the money I'd still buy one. I have yet to see a '09 Mustang on the street, I gotta...

    Power Distribution Block Project

Nice find, my starter solenoid stud is full... I cant add anything else to it, I'll save that part into my faves. :nice: Another option is to find the long stud starter solenoid, I forgot what vehicles they came on. Maybe someone else knows.

    anyone that knows lights???

FWIW, I have those blue (922?) bulbs that they sell at Autozone in the corners, they light up bright and very white; I still have the stock amber bulbs in the turn signals. The blue bulbs work great in the hood light too, and I love it in the dome light, everybody thinks there is a LED up there...

    help lost a relay

I have an early (made in Jan) '91 and my A/C relay is by the passenger strut tower, and the fuel pump relay is under the seat.

    People in parking lots

My brother pushes carts at wal-mart and he sees parking lot accidents all day; he says they have a concrete post that used to have a sign or something on it over by the auto service side. The post is so low that pickup trucks run into it, he said he saw two Dodge trucks run into it in the same...

are torque box reinforcments good prevention?

Yeah its all bolt in, welding is optional. Most street cars would probably be fine with them just bolted in; if you had a high HP slick car then some good stitch welds would do.

Sounds like its the A/C WOT cut-off relay.

Can someone tell me what size wrench to remove rear sway bar?

Just bring the whole tool box with you... but leave it in the car when you go to the junkyard. Then take whatever few tools you think you'll need inside the yard, you can always go back to the car if you need something else. I do it that way because every mofo wants to borrow my tools when I...

Has anyone used Nite Shades on their late fox?

I think the 85-86 style lenses would look better tinted than the LX lenses. I like when people put a light coat of tint on the lenses, rather than full on black. ..Then throw a layer of clear coat on the nightshades since it has a flat finsh to it.

are torque box reinforcments good prevention?

TQ box reinforcements are a must, someone ran over a bump in the highway and shredded his upper box in the 4.6 forums. I picked up a set on the Bay just like that for the same price, except powdercoated... keep your eyes peeled for the powdercoat versions if you can. I was very impressed...

    Summit Fan Relay Kit

I drilled and tapped the thermo housing and put my fan switch there... You might want a 180 thermo with that switch.

    Best Headlight Bulbs

They're a little brighter and whiter... any bit more light that helps me see something in the road is worth it too me. I suppose if I drove out in the middle of nowhere at night and did a standard/Silverstar bulb comparo then I could see a BIG difference. But I did see a nice difference when I...
