    yeh but alot of thigh higher HP cars with skinnys have that same look with the front wheels extra tucked. most stock looking mustangs have a gap between the top of the wheel and fender. or just slightly overlapping thats not the best example in that photo

    are our cars unibody?

    thats why people install subframe connectors. the font and the rear are fairly rigid "subframes" but the center of the car does not have as much support. its mostly just sheetmetal. subframe connectors tie the front and rear together so its stronger overall.

    Detonation problem with 14* timing!!

    when you say that its "breaking up" that makes me think missfire, not detonation. my car is around 12-14* and pings on warm days (i have to back it off) some cars dont like alot of timing, there all a little different.

    What does pinging sound like exactly?

    IMO pinging sounds like if you were to dirve down a dirt road, when bits of sand fly up and hit the body. like a sparatic(sp?) tapity tickity tap it is best detected best when heavy load is put on the car like going up a steep hill and giving it full throttle at low rpms. hope that helps.
