    Suspension Mustang 2 motor mount

What was the original engine? I think the passenger frame mount is the same for 4 or 6 cyl, and you may only need the driver side. Keep an eye on eBay, I see them on there occasionally. Phil Schmidt should also have a set: Mustang II Specialty Shop (NOS, Repro and Used). 64197 460th St...

    Suspension Mustang 2 motor mount

The mount with the slotted hole is for the right side. You will also need the frame brackets for a V8 to be able to attach the motor mounts to the frame, 6028 (RH) and 6029 (LH) in the illustration below.

Some of the other things I've done so far are to rebuild a 8" traction lock and install 3:55 gears, and source a new driveshaft and yoke: I also welded in a pair of Stumpy's subframe connectors and fabricated some traction bars:

    Progress Thread Cobra II Resurrection

Hello all. I've been a member here since 2003, but have not posted very often. We have a white/blue 1976 Cobra II that we bought in 1978 and are the second owner. The first owner was PHD Leasing in Los Angeles who had leased it to a magazine publisher for the first 2 years. My wife had always...

    Transmission Damper

Shipping weight was 9 lb. I'll add the actual weight later, but here are the dimensions. The individual stacked bars are 1/4" thick x 1" wide.

    Transmission Damper

I managed to pick up an NOS damper for $60 plus shipping. Ford part# C9AZ-4A263-A. I had removed the original many years ago and before the last tear down I was noticing a resonant vibration around 50-60 mph. Hopefully this helps, certainly can't hurt and no doubt that Ford put them on for a...

    Wiring diagram

I'm going through a similar issue with finding a replacement switch. Here are some pics of my old one and the connector. Part number for my original switch was marked D6EP-7A247-AA, but D5FZ-7A247-A is listed for replacement, along with D52P-7A247-AA or D6EP-7A247-AA as alternates...

    Transmission Damper

Anyone have one of these vibration dampers off of a V8 car that they want to part with? This is bolted to the tailhousing on a C4 automatic trans. If so, how much do you want for it?

78 II which 302 exhaust manifolds

You're welcome. However, looking at 2Blue2's photo above it appears the correct numbers are D5ZE-9430-AC for right side and D5ZE-9431-AA for left side. The crash guide part numbers were D5ZZ instead of D5ZE. I would go with the D5ZE part numbers.

Drivetrain Mustang II 5 stud rear axle conversion

I have done this swap using new Yukon axles and the 65-66 axles will fit, but it is not a straight swap. A spacer is needed between the bearing and shoulder to make the axle flange line up with the face of the brake drums. Otherwise the axle does not stick out far enough on each side. Might be...

Drivetrain Mustang II 5 stud rear axle conversion

The 65 rear end will fit without moving the spring perches. The difference is only 1/8" on each side and the leaf springs bushings and spring perches will easily accommodate the difference. If you are not comfortable with the alignment, just slot the holes in the spring perches 1/8" on each side...

    Rear Louvers

Mustangs Unlimited sells the rear window louvers with the hinges included. They do not list the hinges and latches separately, but you may be able to call them and special order the hardware kit.
