    E8SE heads??

Anyone know what these are from? The code means an 88 tbird....I thought they were originally e7 heads but cant find any casting to prove that. I am looking to replace my 86 E6Se heads on my gt with them maybe...is it worth it?

Any ideas on hiding a nitrous system nozzle?

Thanks all. I want it hidden for a few reasons. One is theft. Another is to put to shame all the punks who want to "school" me with their brand x rides. Nitrous is just a little extra insurance that I will get the job done. Lastly i want the engine bay as clean as possible. Less is more in...

Any ideas on hiding a nitrous system nozzle?

I just got a NX system for my 86. The bottle is hidden, the lines run inside the car, the solenoids and purge are in the cowl out of site, the braided lines running to the nozzle will be covered with wire loom. But where can I put the nozzle? I toyed with the idea of mounting it in the egr...

New block not what I thought, EOAE non roller questions.

I have another block that is a 86 roller, but the piston skirt broke on it and I have not had a chance to pull it all apart and see if there was any damage to the cyl. wall. So I may be abe to use that one. Any other input? Are the blck actually stronger?

New block not what I thought, EOAE non roller questions.

Just figured out the block I have is a non roller block. Is this a big deal? Can I make it a roller? After I got it home and cleaned off the grime I found a EOAE casting which means it's from a carbed car without roller valvetrain. Is this thing a boat anchor. What should I do?

Real diff between A9L and A9P???

No you can simply use the AOD computer in a 5 speed but not visa versa

Completly stock motor vs. Balanced and blueprinted stock motor? How much HP gain?

All that does make sense...but how much power? i just called DSS and they said the reason their block makes more power is because of the better ring seal due to torque plate honing. The rest is basically coming from the strength of the block. Hard to belive that plate honing is woth 30 hp.

Finally got a couple blocks to build up...which heads? AFR, Edelbrock, or Holley

I believe it....nitrous is very torquey. We have a car we run a 150 wet NX kit on and traction is a major issue. If you dont belive us look for some nitrous dynos. It is very common to see nitrous cars running torque numbers equal to or greater than big blok motors but with a small block car...

Real diff between A9L and A9P???

This is correct. According to the Ford Fuel Injection Handbook the pinout for the 5 speed computer and the auto computer are slightly different. If you use a 5 speed comp in a auto the voltage that goes through one of the pins backfeeds and frys the ecu. The auto computer works in the 5 speed...

Completly stock motor vs. Balanced and blueprinted stock motor? How much HP gain?

The main reason I raise the question is do to the write up in some of the mags latley about DSS's cnc machined blocks level 10 and 20. their ads claim a dyno proven 30+ hp gain using their block. Just trying to figure out why they can make that claim.

Finally got a couple blocks to build up...which heads? AFR, Edelbrock, or Holley

Rick...I just looked at your website. What was your compression with the holley heads. I have read and re-read the head write up in Muscle Mustangs and that's why I am stuck trying to make a desicion on the heads. the arf's had the smaller chamber size so their compression was a bit higher...

Finally got a couple blocks to build up...which heads? AFR, Edelbrock, or Holley

wow. i was thinking the compression would have to be a lot lower. what kind of power do you think a combo like this would make with the right supporting hardware? anyone else have an opinion?

Finally got a couple blocks to build up...which heads? AFR, Edelbrock, or Holley

Well as stated in another thread I got a couple blocks and other junk so I can start building up my REAL motor when I blow the current mill. So far here is what i plan on doing unless I am advised otherwise. 30 over, torque plate hone get stock crank checked, polished, balanced, and maybe...

Completly stock motor vs. Balanced and blueprinted stock motor? How much HP gain?

I just got two new 5.0 roller blocks. One has a crank and stock cam, the other is bare. Anyhow I am curious how much HP one can expect from balancing and blueprinting alone. Naturally this is not what I plan on doing I was just curious what kind of diff it makes. Anyone know?

    BBK SSI intake

The problem with that tb mounting option is clearing the dizzy and then having an inlet tube clearing the hood. I am sure they could have done it but many people want to retain a stock appearance so they would be leaving some sales behind on account of those people. That and the throttle...

    A couple of nitrous questions?

Then really all you need to do is call up the respective manufacturer and ask for their tech guy. They can direct you as to what their solenoids will flow etc. I sell NX systems and the solenoids that come with them will definitely out flow the 150 pills that come with the kits. The nozzle...

Need help on my SD stang..should be an easy one for you guys!

Yeah I am planning on tuning it in with the timing a bit and also running a NX nitrous system. Any idea what others are squeezing out of their motors in a sd setup that is basically stock?

    BBK SSI intake

They say that the center section removes for easy addition of nitrous, but i wonder what way you would point the nozzle? or if there is a nozzle that just shoots straight in? all in all it looks killer and it makes sense with the runner lengths, should be decent on torque too.
