    yep rebuild it. its the infamous one wheel wonder. by the way it would be a 28spline if you kept your stock axles. Sounds like a good time to wake up that AOD with some 4.10s :D

    T5 Popped out of Gear twice yesterday

    ive done that going into second. its just me i think because its only done it when going slow. because when you are going slow you dont put as much effort into shifting than when you are going fast. something like that.

    i give supras credit. but there was a '5.0 Mustang' mag article where they got a 03 cobra up to 600RWHP or something like that. i would like to see that race but the supra is stupid fast.

    i think you might be able to get away with it. because it is still his truck for right now right? wouldnt it be his choice to mod it the way he wanted. if he decided to put 87gt seats in instead of the lightning seats he could do that right? this is just on a bigger scale :shrug:

    this is what i was trying to say. look and see if your little tag is there. if it is search here or google or somewhere for a decoder chart for the number off the plate. I searched here and found my old thread with what year goes with the # on the plate. HERE

    there should be a little plate on the d/s of the tranny. if you search it might show up because i asked the same thing awhile back. try searching google or something too.

    well there is a 03 cobra engine and tranny in the autotrader out here for $11k, thats not too rediculous. a blown 347 stroker isnt far from that price. plus i know the fab work. it wouldnt be cheap but it wouldnt be stupid expensive....i think

    if tires are no big deal and you have gears, you can get a 2nd gear b/o. a fox can powerbrake at like 3k. id be a little cautious. however one ive seen my tach at 6k leaving a light :shrug: :notnice: i had to apologize to my poor 5.0, still held up :D

    Who here has rebuilt their own Trac-Lok? Or has had someone do it

    so there is nothing you can REALLY screw up that would make it freeze up or something like that right? i was thinking that it wouldnt be that hard. by chance did anyone install gears while they were in there? im curious about all the backlash numbers and stuff, do you have to worry about all that?

    how did that happen? the ebrake runs off of a cable nowhere near the master cylinder right??? thats crazy

    yep that fan is hurting ya. and the sluggishness will be the result of an AOD. and start stashing money for when it decides to go out. AOD + 108k miles= ticking time bomb.
