    T5 SnAPS!...again

you wont like it...you have to cut your tranny tunnel, and enlarge it...i dont know all the details, I'm planning on a T-5, and reducing the torque of my 5.0 as much as possible in the hopes of it living longer Wow, That comment bugs me on some many different levels as someone who has done...

    Have a good one!

Although I have been on this site for many years and appreciate the wealth of knowledge from all of you I dont think anyone here is more important than another. I learned as a young mechanic in a business where if I didnt fix the eq. I didnt make any money that it is best to go to the source or...

    Headlight relays....

Yea, I have it almost done now but the headlight harnesses I have found locally do not have the heavy 10-12G wire attached so I am going to go look around more tomorrow. If I cant find anything I will check out that link you sent. I ran the power from the Alt. output and then installed a fuse...

    Headlight relays....

I am about to start installing my Headlight relays so I can run these H4 55/60Watt bulbs and was wondering if anyone has tackled this and would like to give me some pointers? I have the diagrams pulled up but any additional help would be appreciated greatly.

    Headlight question

I like that Bronco piece, it would fix my problem! I may also try some of these lower wattage bulbs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380091261939&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us

    Headlight question

I am running newer three bar headlights and noticed last night that they would shut off and come back on from time to time. I know that the original wattage was 37.5 low/50watts high beam and the new ones are 55w/60w so I guess its time to intall a relay but was wondering if the power side of...

    Switched power question.

I have not had a chance to play with the programing as of yet. As an old school mechanic the program seems a bit intimadating. I am getting the current gains strickly from the switch from a vacuum dist. to this mechanical advance. I cant wait to dial up the advance some on my way home. If you...

    Switched power question.

Just an update. The car did great on the way to work this am and I am very happy with the MSD box & coil. I cant believe the differents in the power and it starts up easier as the box retards the timing under 500RPM to help it start. Thanks for the help yesterday! :hail2:

    Switched power question.

Thanks! I had run it on full power just for testing reasons. I have found the wire and now it shuts off with the key. :D

    Switched power question.

I am having some issues on the MSD Digital 7 box I have installed and need some help. The box has a wire for switched power and I connected it to the stud on the back of the key switch but that does not show 12volts while you hold the key on "start" so the box shuts off and I have no...

Anyone with underdash pics of 65-66? MSD box routing

I just finished up a digital 7 & map sensor install on my 66 and am totally happy with the way it worked out. I will post pics as soon as I get home. I used thick plexiglas and mounted it under the dash right behind the ashtray. I like the plexiglas so I can see the unit and wires whenever I...

Easiest (while still being worthwhile) wax

I have one of the slow speed oscilating 10" buffers and it reall speeds things up. I like that fact that you can really bear down with both hands when removing the wax. I dont really have any input though on which wax but like my ol' Turtle wax.

    T56 into a 67 Coupe: Surgery required

Not to highjack your thread but I dont want folks with 64-66 models to think its as easy as lowering the engine....On my 66 you could have never gotten the angle correct without raising the tunnel, even if you lower the engine 2". I had clearance (oil pan & header flanges)issues before the swap...
