    i see some of you guys in your sig with time's in the 14's with H/C/I. If this is the case i am gouing to sell my notch, put the 4K down on a trans-am. what i want: To beat a stock LS1 What i don't want: to spend 3 K in parts and labor to get smoked in the 1/4 by 6 car lenghts by a LS1.

    OK, i bumped my timing to 14... lets say i put regular in my tank and my car starts "pinging" what damage is that doing and what is exactly making the nosie? i only ask cause i'm nervous if i'm ever stuck with out enough $$ to super in i wanna make sure it's safe to put regular in. let me know...

    Well, i might have 373's, gotta get the jack out. @ what RPM is best to shift in each gear? as of right now i'm not passing 5K to much. i tend to feel a slight loss of power past 5K then i shift.. any input is appriciated. thanks.

    ah.. i do have a hurst shifter. and it seems like it doesn't always go into gear. The tranny is rebuilt. I guess i should have someone look at it. thanks for you input. anyone here ever get the syncros fixed? know how much it costs to fix? thanks

    my stick is popping out of 1st and 3rd? what casues this and what is involved in fixing it? how much would it cost for a mechanic to fix it? is it possible that i do not have it fully in gear? thanks for any input.

    only in 3rd gear... depending where i am in 3rd, but almost sounds like a whistle. I have the cone K&n air filter, i thought that was it maybe? anyone else experience this?

    I'm new to this but it seems that all i need to get into the 11's is a good H/I/C, 373's, street slicks, and a power adder. I'm guessing that this combination will cost littel over 4K.

    Fuel Pump....

    I did it with out takeing the filler neck out. I jsut let the left side hang down, then i just swapped my pumps. done... Not recommending this, i didn;t know what i was doing then (and now) i don't know if i did any damage toi my car.. i just could not afford a mechanic/day off from work. :lol:

    yea i know of that way, but i just moved (with out my jack) and it's raining out here on long island.. you or anyone else know the mph>rpm way of finding out?
