Think your msitake is bad? THE BIGGEST IDIOT MISTAKE OF ALL TIME!!!

Driving Error Okay, I had a 1994 Jeep Wrangler, and this is really more of a driver error, but none-the-less I learned my lesson. I was driving my jeep at about 60+ MPH down a crappy country road two winters ago, suddenly, I was going backwards, I honestly don't know how... I was going...

    Battery or alternator??

Easiest way I've found to test batt or alt is to start your car, rev it up, have your headlights on your garage door at night and drop the rev's, look to see if you lights stay very illuminated or if after a few moments they dull... if they dull, rev her back up and see if she gets bright...

Heater blower died... it's -5 degrees on the drive home

No the fan went through a brief squeaking process (I'm assuming it's the fan, kuz I don't think the wiring would squeak) and it was followed by an... unpleasent aroma. Then... it was cold, very cold. Has anyone replaced the heater blower? The switch looks fine... just wondering on about...

Heater blower died... it's -5 degrees on the drive home

Alright, so I'm an hour away from home, it's -5 out (not including wind chill) and my heater blower dies. Now I'm minimally mechanical, the 'Stang is my project/learner car. How hard is it to install a new blower? I know it's not my heater core, due to the SMALL amount of heat that's comming...
