    You will get quality from ford but its a little more pricy I think. If you decide to go aftermarket from you're local parts store I would make sure not to get semi-metalic pads. Check out 50resto or other sites before you decide to take a trip to autozone. That way you know if they're ripping...

    I agree that you will end up spending more then you plan....but there are things you can do to cut cost. Such things could be doing all the labor yourself, polishing your own intake, and if your main goal is reaching the 12s then looking at option like porting the stock heads and lower intake...

    To clean out the inside of your headers you can probably get away with soaking them in gasoline and running some kind of steal brush through them.

    Are you unpluging it while the car is turned on? The mass air flow sensor converts the amount of air drawn into the engine into a voltage single. The ecm needs to know intake air volume to calculate engine load - which is necessary to determine how much fuel to inject. This will obviously...

    If you havent you should conversion. Your post was a little confusing are you talking about the tubes/pipes that hook up to the condenser in front of your radiator?

    Check the water pump pully for play. Have you noticed any unusual white smoke coming from you're exhaust?
