    Problem solved it was the computer, tried a friends ECM and the pump primed a few seconds the engine started up with out any problems. Thanks for all the help!!!:SNSign:

    I just did not sure why its not posting but its 92 LX 5.0 shorty headers, shifter, and H-pipe. Thanks Im gonna try a friends computer see if it resolves the issue

    Thanks for the responses Ill begin trouble shooting this morning I have an extra computer to try which should make some things easier.

    Well my engine barely runs and if I can get it started it runs rough as hell and really rich. With key on it continues pumping fuel, not the usual 3-5 secs to prime the motor. I dont have a clue with this one could it be a bad fuel press. regulator, any ideas on how to trouble shoot this one?

    I know what you guys are thinking but the replacement was one solid piece Ill take some pics and show you what I mean looks like the gear's teeth were pressed on

    after tear down second gear was sheared the center portion moved seperate of the outer? Intalled new one put tranny back together and will intall and test drive in the evening.

    tranny is out havent pulled the cover to inspect the internals yet, it shifts into second and nothing happens no grinding its like its in neutral

    :mad:Started with a bad vibration in 2nd then it let go all other gears work. Need to know what might have broken options to repair it. Transmission was rebuilt about a year ago.:mad:

    Power Steering Pump Pulley Question

    replaced mine with a remanufactured unit from Advanced Auto and it had a very small amount of play, mine did not come with a pulley I had to use the one off the original pump.

    Changed my pump for a factory remaned one from the local parts store and used the lucas power steering additive so far so good. There is a lot less whinning comming from the pump.
