    yes, it is illegal in CA. and u can't pass without the cat. you will get a big fine if they find out u r running without cat

    i have CHP 5.1L stroker kit. here is the auto machine shop put on my receipt: bore 0.16 and hone 0.20 to plate. i dont even know wat the heck it is mean. and i have a KB 9psi too. i'll let u guys know wat my power output comparing to MM&FF CHP 4.9L stroker with the Votech :nice:

    i think the problem gotta do something with the tuning. anyway, not all of KB tune got problem. So we have to be on our own luck. Or just go have a dyno tune before u guys have a broken rod like me. Good luck to all of you that the rods still hang on

    I got the CHP (www.coasthigh.com) kit. that kit was recommended to me by a High Performance Engine Shop in my area.

    listen to this guy. i got my KB on, and go to redline like 2 times and some hesitation when shifted at 5700 from 2nd to 3rd, and then i blew a rod. now engine is in the shop for repair, i stroke it to 5.1L with forged internal = 6 grand

    hey man, i am in Santa Cruz too. and i have 01 GT stang with KB 9psi. my car is in the shop rite now for stroking to 5.1L and forged internal to run 14psi. My goal is 500 to the wheels :banana: Anyway, we have our norcal mustang clubs, we sometimes cruise around highway one or half moon bay...

    i got like 375 rwhp and 386rwtq with a clutch that is slipping so badly. And after i got my centerforce dual friction on, broke the clutch in for a new dyno but unfortunately, the rods are gone before i can make it to the dyno shop :mad:
