    Anyone use Lucas products?

I put some of the fuel injector cleaner in the tank every now and then. It's good stuff to use if you get some bad gas. Last year when I was having EGR issues and my car was running really sluggish adding some to the gas was the only thing that would make it run good again. Now that I've fixed...

What's the best catback and mid-pipes for the buck?

I have a Mac catback and like it as well. It sounds nice, similar to flows but a little more agressive. It's one of the louder catbacks available for these cars. I was running a Mac off road H but switched to a Pypes X just to try a different sound. Both were good quality and fit really well...

Help... need a new fuel pump, which one?

Well, I called JD's and with their advice decided to just order a gss340. I might as well be one step closer to putting a blower on the car which has been my goal for it all along. :D They were definately very helpful on the phone. Thanks again guys for the reccomendation.

My volt gauge moves when I turn on the headlights or heater too, even with a 3G. Is that regulator fairly easy to replace?

Help... need a new fuel pump, which one?

Thanks for the link... that's an awesome price on the Walbros... so should I just get a 255lph then? It won't cause my car to run rich or anything, even at idle? I'd like to go SC in the future, so having the bigger pump in place would be cool, but if I did it would definately be under 10 lbs...

Help... need a new fuel pump, which one?

So my fuel pump completely died on me the other day and I need a replacement ASAP. I see there are a lot of choices out there for the EFI 5.0's... I need something inexpensive but also reliable, my car is a daily driver that sees a lot of use. I have heard good things about the Walbros, which I...

Was that for a FMS driveshaft? If so that would have been a good price... thats about what I was asking for my Aerostar unit.

    Need some encouragement

It sounds like you can justify it and it's definately a nice car. I would keep it garaged and detailed but drive it at least once a week too. :D

Which brand of Bullitt / FR500 replica wheels?

I'm starting to price wheels for my Fox and I thought I'd ask your guys opinions on the different brands of replica wheels that are out there. I'm going with either Bullitt or FR500 style wheels and it seems there are many different companies selling copies of them these days. I haven't ruled...

    Best Fuse for 3G

I'm running the exact same thing... it's pretty ideal, I like how the fuse actually bolts down, and it was only about $15 all together. Best of all I know where to find a replacement fuse if I ever need one.

When is the best time of the year to buy parts?

I browse their print catalog all the time and it seems that they've been steadily raising prices on a lot of stuff ever since I got my stang in '04. :notnice:

New life to some old Pony rims (pics)

Those look awesome... I've been wanting to polish up the lip on my wheels and maybe paint them a darker silver for a while now, but I couldn't figure out how to clean up the lip. Can you clarify what you mean by a "scuff pad"? Now if only I had air tools... anyone know if they make electric...

    FoxBullitt

Nice... I'd love to see that done with a hatchback. Ford should have offered a Bullitt foxbody from the factory.

    Water pump install

Good tip, I did this as well. Replacing the WP is easy, just be careful when removing the bolts like 89 Saleen said. I'd second soaking them down with some PB or Liquid Wrench the night before the job and then again a couple hours before starting. Just go slow and use a regular length ratchet...

    Fox Lighting

Silverstars. They are noticeably better than the old Halogen bulbs that were in there before. They don't seem to last that long, though... I put them in around July '05 and a couple months back one bulb went out, now today I noticed that the other one has died. How long are everyone else's...

    School me on fan clutches

My fan clutch spins a lot louder when the engine is dead cold than it does once it's fully warmed up. I don't know if that's normal or not, it's suposedly a year old (bought it used)... my old Blazer with a clutch fan did the same thing though. My original fan clutch in the Stang was really...

popping sound when turning sharp left

Lately I've been hearing the exact same noise from my car, although literally everything in the front end is only 1 or 2 years old, except for the sway bar mount bushings and wheel bearings which are original. I'm going to check everything out in the next couple days and replace the sway bar...

Upper Strut mounts.Where can I get these? ( Photo ) ....PITA this is !!

Ditto... I'd get the c/c plates now because if you don't you're almost gauranteed to have to get them in the future... better to do it now than have to tear everything apart later on and pay for a second alignment. I thought I could get away with no c/c plates since I only lowered my car an...
