    fast help needed...cam gear tq specs?

    does anybody know the tq specs for the cam gear and the cam thurst plate bolts? and do i put thread sealer, antisieze, locktite...or anything on any of these bolts?

    well, ive recieved all the parts now, so hopfully everything goes kosher. the cam goes in tonite and the heads will go tomorrow...i bought some play-do today so check my clearances. as for the overreving...i do have a manual, but ive also got a rev limited that will be well below 6500 :)

    ok im answering my own question here. im readin on edlebrocks site that 1.90 IV is the biggest i can go with stock pistons..which i belive would be flat top? now im trying to put together all the parts ill need to do this headswap...im lost on the head gaskets...im not sure what size to get...

    i agree that the 2.5 may be a little big for ur current setup. 2.25 would have been the way to go. when going to big you run the chance of loosing the velocity through your exhaust system which can hurt your low end tq. are u have full tailpipes or are u dumped right after the muffler?
