Why dont you just check the damn codes???????? Or do you just like throwing money at it?

Doors hard to open after new weatherstripping

I would also check the condition of the door hinge pins and bushing. Just open the door a little bit and grab the bottom and pull up. It should move very little. If it move alot, the bushings and pins need to be replaced.

Those who are using Trick Flow Tall Valve Covers

I run the TFS street heat and TFS tall valve covers. I had to run a one inch spacer. I am also runnning a 75mm throttle body and had to do some trimming on the throttle cable bracket.

Hesitation at WOT; Backfiring, TFI Module? Tried everything!!

I would say trouble shoot it properly before just throwing a bunch of parts at it like has been mentioned. Pull the codes and then go from there. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? When is the last time you put a set of plugs in? When is the last time you changed the cap and rotor? There are...

    Check oil light!!!! Please help

With all the money you already spent, to just rering the pistons and replace the connecting rod and main bearings will be dirt cheap in the long run.

plugs for smog ports in back of cylinder head...

More than likely you need to run a tap in the holes. Me and my buddy were putting his engine together yesterday. 5/8-11 threads. We just used some 5/8-11x1" long bolts I had laying around. The threads were covered with carbon and had to be tapped. Once tapped, the bolts or inserts should thread...

    Stuck blower pulley?

Try warming the pulley up with a small propane torch. The aluminum will expand long before the steel shaft. It doesnt take much heat or long to warm the pulley up either.

    93 Cobra owners

Stav, you are absolutely correct. i dunno why I have been thinking my rims were 8.5. That would explain why the tire guy looked at me so funny when I had him mount 275/40/17 drag radials. That would also explain why the sidewall curves so much. I guess I was thinking the aftermarket rims were...

    Engine Blown?? Huge crack..pics..

URSCRWD But seriously, you need to just pull the engine and tear it down and go from there. This is one of thoses cases that can not be properly diagnosed over the internet. There are too many reasons it could break, with just as many side effects from the initial carnage.

    UH-OH!!!

Mine took a little bit. I would say about 5 mins or so. My engine was completely gone through so it was pretty empty.

Help! Need help with 351 2 piece rear main

Maybe its just me, but I would just pull the motor. Seems easier than dropping the K member and pulling the tranny, Plus he could go through other things with the engine out.

I have 93 Cobra 4 lug rims and they are 8.5, not 7.5 inches wide. They are OEM, not aftermarket.

    Fuel Presure droping off??

More Vaccuum=less pressure Less Vaccuum=more pressure If his pressure is dropping off, I really doubt its because he has too much vaccuum. I would look into fuel delivery issues, especially a clogged fuel filter, or even clogged strainer on the pump. Has this setup been working...

    Head gaskets for nitrous?

Aluminum heads need the 1011-2. The 1011-1 is made for iron heads. I have used both sets with the corresponding heads and they work great under boost or with nitrous. I would also use ARP head studs. Extra insurance and you end up with a better, more consistant torque.

    Fuel Presure droping off??

Without vaccuum, the pressure would remain the same, not drop. When is the last time you checked your fuel filter? The problem sounds like a volume issue. Dirty filters cant supply enough volume to maintain the pressure. There are other reasons also, but filters are the most common and easiest...

    UH-OH!!!

I cant remember if it was forward or reverse on the drill, when I did mine. BUT when the oil pump was primed, the drill loaded up big time. If the drill didnt change pitch or get hard to hold, then its not primed yet.

    Radiator Choices

You can get a larger universal fit aluminum radiator from summit for less than that 3 core brass $240 radiator, LX302 speaks of. It actually pretty much bolts in.

    Fan Clutch Problems

LX302, did you actually read though this thread? He is getting fan wash into his open under hood air filter. Thermo or non thermo fan clutch is still gonna wreak havick on the MAF.

    5.0 Flywheels

Sevan, does that mean I should send my aluminum flywheel back? It is much lighter than stock, but balanced for 50oz. Maybe you can shed some light on this subject before I wreck my engine.

    Fan Clutch Problems

Thats all those dang underhood filters are good for. Poor idle and surging. I have seen people just build a shield around them and even that helps out. Anything just to block the fan wash.
