    The SN65 project car

Nice job, looks amazing. The extractor is very Viper-esq.

    Power adder poll

Where do you get kit's to turbo a 289? Or do you have to fab the plumbing yourself?

    The SN65 project car

Looks great. I assume the little notch in the front of the flare between the flare and the fender is for the bumper.

    The Dynamic Duo Strikes Again

Well after searching and finally getting the parts to the shop and having everything worked on, the car is now fixed. Turns out the heat from the headers caused the master and slave cylinders to break down. To counter this, the shop wrapped the left header near the cylinders (not the whole...

Guess who got to push their car through town to a garage today?

So if I were to replace the master cylinder for the hydraulic clutch, I'd be good to go?

Guess who got to push their car through town to a garage today?

That's what I thought, but the fluid level is fine in the cylinder.

Guess who got to push their car through town to a garage today?

ME. Oh yeah that was fun. Luckily the 66 Stangs don't weigh a whole lot. Here's the story. We've had some problems with our clutch in the past where it seems to get stuck and we can't shift. Well today all hell broke loose when I went to first and then the clutch pedal lost pressure...

    Idle Issues

Alright, I'll give that a shot. Where on the carb is the choke linkage?

    Idle Issues

We do have an electric choke. Yeah, I give it some gas until it can hold itself. If the choke is bad, is it an easy fix and how serious is it? Thanks for the help.

    Idle Issues

Here's the problem I've been dealing with lately. When I start up my car for the first time (cold start) it immediately dies afterwards because the idle is too low but with a little playing it finally stays, but idles at about 600 rpm (as opposed to the 900 I'm used to). Once the car warms up...

    El Stango Idling Too Low

I have a T5 and am pretty sure a stock cam (or at least a mild one). My idle was around 900 and that seemed to be fine. Thanks.

    El Stango Idling Too Low

Thank you, I'll check it out. What's a good idling rpm?

    El Stango Idling Too Low

It's about a 100 to 200 rpm lower at idle than it used to be. What adjustments would I have to do to raise the idle again? Its a 289 4 barrel. Thanks for any help.

    The SN65 project car

I would say remove the airbags as well. Those things are touchy and can even be dangerous. If the dimensions have changed any it could cause serious damage to driver and passenger.

Running rich, how do I adjust carb?

Thanks, but I don't have access to any of that equipment. I'm just looking for a quick fix to hold me over for a bit.

Running rich, how do I adjust carb?

I have a Weber 4 barrel carb (don't know the exact model though) and I there's two screws in the front. Which way do I turn them to make it leaner? I'm pretty sure I'm running rich now because there is a more prominent fuel smell when I drive. Thanks for any help.

    Agh, driver's window roller broken...

I'll just up an buy a new one. The window has always had some more resistance than the other ones when rolling it up or down, what would be the best way to deal with it. I'm pretty sure it's been greased.

    Agh, driver's window roller broken...

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I've found the problem. Once I got the window handle off I noticed it was really worn inside and on the actual regulator itself so it would just slip the whole time. If I buy a new handle it should fix the problem at least temporarily.

Which way do I slide the panel off? I know there's little pins in there.
