    You need new springs at least. You need HP springs http://www.propowerparts.com/Modular/valvetrain.htm ModMax 305-25246 $4.61ea. ’96 and UP DOHC and FR500 DOHC Hi-Performance Valve Spring (89# on the seat and 202# at .450" lift. Max lift .500") You can reuse your stock valves ect.

    Steeda sports worked well for me. Stock shocks still on. about an inch or slightly less of a drop. Gets rid of that 4x4 look and improves cornering, of course.

    Yeah - chucky is an idiot. He spews useless crap. Is your exhaust too loud inside the cabin or do you think it is too loud outside? It's really a combination of the whole thing. You headers will make the internal cabin exhaust niose louder. Your best bet is probably those baffles otherwise.

    Oregon does not follow Cali emissions. New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Maine do. http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/ststatus.pdf If your car does not have a California emissions control system, you may have to pay $300 in fees or have your car retrofitted.
