    Thinking of buying a 99 GT

    I have a 99 and have loved it, ive got about 115k miles (20k boosted) and she still runs like a champ never had a major problem. I bought it about 6 years ago with 67k miles on it for 7500, bone stock.

    Yea it has been a while. I sold the fox so i can devote all my attention to my 99 for now on...Nice knowing people remember me! It doesn't grind every-time just every now and then when im getting into good hp range and shifting into third. I think i'd rather leave it a 5spd at this point...

    Third gear is starting to grind every now and then so i know a tranny is going to be in order in the future. Recomendations? I want it to be good for 6-700rwhp. Should i switch to a 6spd?

    I for one think flowmasters sound awesome, the only thing that deters me from them is the fact that they are so popular and i like to try to be different. Some people like the sound of a good ol' chambered muffler/muscle-car sound and some people like the straight through designs/exotic sound...

    Thats a badass build you got going on! Even so i think i prefer my simple little sq trim to all that custom/complicated fab work, seems like turbo cars always have problems...Good luck though man that is going to be one badass motor!

    i've got one of the autometer digital tachometer/shiftlights in my 99 and love it. Its a 2 1/4' gauge and fits right in my gauge pod, most people don't know what it is when they see it. Auto Meter Digital Pro Shift Systems - JEGS
