    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

Seeing some articles now that say Fox long tubes fit with a T-56... is that correct? If that is the case, then I will wait on the long tubes for a while and just do the cat-back and o/r x-pipe.

    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

Your posts have been what have convinced me to go with the MAC long tubes. I have just not been able to locate ceramic coated 1-3/4"/3" long tubes (only 1-5/8"/2-1/2"). I love the sound of your car, but I want a little more rasp/growl/racecar noise out of mine, like this one. I assume...

    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

I would go the Fox T-5 bellhousing route since I am going to take all the EGR crap off... except I plan to take the T-56 out of my 66 GT and put it in the 95 GT. Not sure what issues I will run into there... and that may mean problems with long tubes as well. I guess there is a Fox...

    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

You should see my ceramic long tubes on my 66 GT. They're chipped, peeling, and generally look like crap. I'm going to do more looking today while bored at work. I found a video last night of a Fox with MAC long tubes, custom o/r X-pipe, and SLP Loudmouth 1 catback that absolutely sold me!

    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

Sadly, I do know what Kooks cost. I would consider them except I plan to run stock heads for while then go with AFRs. I got the impression that the Kooks are custom made for certain heads. I can't seem to find 1.75" primaries/3.00" collectors in ceramic coat, only chrome. Do the chrome...

    Long Tube Headers Manufacturers

I've been searching/reading for hours and I can't quite find the answer I am looking for with regards to long tube headers for my 95 GT (convertible T-5). I want quality long tubes for my car (without spending $1,000). I was duped by pictures into thinking that Bassani made long tubes for the...

Build Thread "Rising from Ashes" 94 Cobra build thread

I've got a budget in mind that I would be much more willing to compromise on if I knew I was getting this quality. As it is now, I will be gutting the car and disassembling what I can before I take it just to save some cash. It's a convertible, so you'd think I'd only have to pay 80% of...

Build Thread "Rising from Ashes" 94 Cobra build thread

Man, I wish you lived closer to me. I am having a really hard time finding a good shop to do my car (for a fairly reasonable price). I'd love to help/learn from whoever is doing the paint.

    95 GT long cranks/rough

I guess I never noticed it being this drastic before. Regardless I am excited to have her running again. Now I can install the suspension that is laying in my garage.

    95 GT long cranks/rough

I timed the car once it was warm, and everything seems to be good to go. I ended up backing off a degree or two. The only (slight) problem now is when I turn on the A/C, the RPM's drop off for a second and then whenever the thermostat kicks on. This is only at idle though.

I'll give this a shot. Thanks!

    95 GT long cranks/rough

The distributor is new. Literally, the only things I have not replaced are the TFI, wires, coil, and injectors (if you want to go that far). I will try timing with a warm motor this weekend, replacing the SPOUT connector with the motor running. I will say the car runs like never before, the cold...

    95 GT long cranks/rough

That's why I said for aesthetic reasons on the MSD coil. I have the cap and rotor already, the car is red, and I was going for a red/polished theme under the hood. I will probably still get the Performance Distributor Screamin Demon coil and TFI module.

    95 GT long cranks/rough

The TFI module is about the only thing I have not replaced yet. That, coil, and wires. I plan to get the Performance Products version of all three of these, is that a good way to go? Although for aesthetic reasons, I want the MSD coil haha.

    95 GT long cranks/rough

It idles at 750 just fine (a slight surge as mentioned before). If I time it at idle, the timing mark seems to "bounce" back and forth and makes it hard to set... maybe that is the surge and I should time it when it's warm?

    95 GT long cranks/rough

That is entirely possible. I turned the car off, removed the SPOUT connector (the second time I tried this), connected advance timing light to the battery and #1 spark plug wire, restarted the car. I noticed the timing mark seemed to bounce back and forth. I had my wife reve the motor to 2k...

    95 GT long cranks/rough

Update: The problem was a ruptured rubber hose off the fuel pump. Installed new Walbro 255lph fuel pump since I had the gas tank dropped and apart. She runs! Although I think I could stand to hone in the timing a little more as cold starts are a pain (warm starts are no problem at all). I...

Fuel Walbro Svt Focus 284 Lph Fuel Pumps For Cheap? Yep And I Will Tell You Where To Get Them

I ended up ordering a Walbro 255lph online. It fit perfectly. It wasn't worth the $30 savings to figure out how to get the SVT Focus one to fit.
