    Dual Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding

When I bench bled my new master cylinder it didnt leak, so not its not messy unless you dont tighten the pluggs and wave around the MC with the cover off. Also when pushing in the plunger, do this procedure while slightly tilting the MC up and down to get any remaining air bubbles out that...

    Carb Swap = headache HELP

My brothers carb came off of his 60 Ford F-100 and he had a 302, then he changed to a 351 and it still ran fine till the tranny crapped out. I will spray some carb cleaner or maybe a soap/water solution around the spacer tomorrow to check the vaccum.

    Carb Swap = headache HELP

I guess I was editing my earlier comment while u were typing. My brother rebuilt the carb since he and I dont see eye to eye and it was his carb so I stayed away from it. He had a carb spacer that was designed to fit a 2 barrel carb to a 4 barrel manifold, wierd. But no vaccum leak that we...

Carburetor or accelerator cable gone bad?

I haven't noticed until now that my pedal was slowly sinking closer to the firewall until yesterday when I was stranded 40 miles from my apartment with my pedal not working. If I push the pedal it does not pull the accelerator cable to open the throttle. The pedal just hits the floor. When...

    Tranny or torque converter failing

For some time now I have noticed a problem. I will start my car up mid morning, let it warm up, and then drive off. I know that around 25-40 miles and hour it feels like my car is suddenly thrown into neutral (the engine rev's when the pedal is pressed, but the car is still in drive). This...

    '68 Power steering problems

My car is suffering from these same issues. Right now im dealing with a bum master cylinder, combined with Big bs theory of the control valve, its probably air stuck in the lines combined with a bad control valve. I dont know when, if ever, the control valve on my car has been replaced.
