There is a math equation to figure out your lift but damned if I know what it is, math was never my strongest suit. I'm sure theres some Stangers on here that know how to figure that out.
I don't know off hand what the size of the E7 head valves are, they may be small enough that you can get...
Yeah you could try moving the ground... If it does the same thing when you move the ground then that's probably not whats wrong. Did you check your Jacobs Ignition for a tach outlet?
Thats true also... I think on the Autometers you have to actually cut wires at the back of the tach to go down in cylinders. I hope you didn't do that
I am finally getting started on my engine and I'm not sure what size of throttle body to go with.
I plan on having:
AFR 165(61cc) Heads
TFS Track Heat/ Edelbrock Perf. II/Holley Systemax II(whichever I get cheaper)
FTI Cam
I already have:
75mm Pro-M MAM
24lb Inj.
Any suggestions...
I don't know a lot about the aftermarket ignition products but I think some of them have a specific spot on the box that you're supposed to run you tach signal wire to instead of the coil.
Thanks Mike, I really do appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.
I have another question though now, lol. What is involved in making the stock reliefs larger? Is that something that a guy can do in his garage or do you have to take your car into a machine shop. I was kinda...
I'm going to be getting a set of heads within the next two months and I'm kinda curious as to what valve size I can use with my stock 1993 pistons.
I was looking at the TFS Twisted Wedge Track Heat but they have 2.02 and 1.60 valves. Now I realize that changing the cam or putting in 1.7...

This is a site with message boards, general info, and a list of turbo kit companies with reviews. Kinda looking into a turbo myself :D , hard to part with the $$ though.
Whats the difference between the triple pickup and the speed release quadrants? They cost the same from UPR Products but I'm not sure which to get.
Thanks,
