    You really need to set the backlash correctly just in case, but you need the tool for that. A mech. did mine so I don't know what amount of shims were where. the one you're talking about probably came from the right side.

    there's the main mount for the tranny to crossmember and there's bushings for the crossmember to frame. crossmember to frame motor and trans mount kit

    I got it installed today, it works great. On the safety issue....The buttons are all shaped different so you don't have to look at them to operate the cruise. I test drove it and it's easier to operate than the stereo. I'm pretty happy with it, I'm like Hissin, I can't stand dead parts...

    There's a guy down in power adders threads building up a L s/c'd 5.0, you might head down there and check it out. He's fabbing adapters and such. The boost doesn't hurt the 5.0's so I wouldn't assume it would hurt the 5.8's

    The farthest forward and rear bolt on and are plastic like said above. The other are rubber and stuck on. Above mentioned methods work well for removal. It is best to remove the metal backing before reinstalling so they will not be wavy. Good Luck

    I'm thinking about getting one of these kits along with a fresh rebuild .030 over. Which would be a better choice? Track heat engine kit EFI engine kit I plan on going with larger TB, MAF sensor, and injectors as well. What sizes would work best?
