    I installed them myself with the Anderson Cam tool. The install is pretty easy. Actually I found it easier than installing the PI intake. To take a quess at prices I would say anywhere from 400-700. This just a quess. Hope this helps.

    Cheap CAI's are horrible.

    Pretty much most CAI intakes are just for looks. I like mine because it cleaned up the engine bay, but it most likely did nothing for me. I ended up doing the Darkwolf Mod to deal with the issue of the 90 degree bend in the intake.

    I checked my K&N the other day and it still looks pretty clean. It has been on the car for over 2 years with city driving. Cleaning it every oil change is just too much.

    is this x-pipe any good?

    I am a little of the opposite. I had a Dr. Gas X-pipe on my car and it just was not the sound for me. I like the sound of an o/r H-pipe. I feel it gives a deeper and rumble like exhaust sound. I still have my Dr. Gas sitting in the garage thou.

    My car did the opposite with the sportlines. The rear of my car sat about .5" shorter than the front. What I did was cut a half a coil on the front and it sits pretty much even. If you cut them do not use heat. It will make them weaker.

    I have seen people use Bassani baffles in the Magnaflow tips. The holes compared to the Bassani exhaust are roughly in the same position.

    Daily driven stangs!!!!!

    My 98 GT has 58,000 daily driven. I have no track time as of now. Hope to go once I get it tuned in a couple of weeks. The only problems "so far" that I had was a busted fog light and worn ball joints. Other than that just the typical maintenance stuff.

    Funny how everybody comments on the radiator pipes. Thanks thou. Anyway I ordered them from Dallas Mustang. Comes with the both the top and bottom hoses. It helps clean up under the hood a little.

    I don't have any issues with my setup. I just enter into the inspection nice and quietly and BS with the guy. No visual or sniff test for me and I live in a city.

    It will have a rattle like sound to it. You might like it or not. I ran a Dr Gas X-pipe in the past with Flowpaths and I find that the H-pipe sounds better.

    To be honest with you go with the prochamber and the packs. This combo seems to be a very popular setup. I heard a couple of them like this and they are deep. The x-pipe will give you more rasp with the packs. My opinion is the prochamber or the h-pipe.

    Where to get Bassani?

    I recieved my old Bassani setup from Houston Performance. I had the o/r x-pipe with the street comp catback. It was just too loud and rattle sounding for me. I should have gotten the one with cats to help with the volume.
