Does it make sense to use HIPO headers?

i agree with 10sec, why pay more for hipo exhaust manifolds when they are still worse than some shorties from headman? the sound level is more determined by the muffler used not the headers. so don't get flowmasters : ) edit: some good shorty headers are about 100 dollars less than hipo...

    1965 Coupe

i think 10k is quite heavy for the car, negotiate down. especially if it has cancer on a frame rail... and is not a real GT.

    18x7, 5.5" BS : wheels fit?

the 17" wheel fits better than a 16" wheel on the backspace that the wheel likes the most. so i would disagree with that. but then again i don't think 17's look silly, they look silly if you're going for stock look, but if not, with the shelby drop 1" drop springs 17's with some slightly fat...

Will 18x8 rims fit in the front on 1964 1/2 ford mustang

i think i would like it better raised an inch even with the back tires, that thing is way too slammed. to tx, you know i got no problem with you i think you're a cool guy, but to a point telling someone that 18s look silly just isn't going to change their mind. i would personally go with 17's...

    throttle sticky

right, sorry for the delay in replies. wicked, it is the stock '66 style ( with the bolt in the intake manifold ) and through the firewall i do believe it is going smooth in that part, i kind of hear what i think might be binding in the carb linkage part, but i am not sure. i'll try and spray...

    throttle sticky

hi all, i've noticed a problem with my throttle linkage sticking when i have my foot steady, not moving it just sorta stays there. kind of makes it no fun shifting when it stays at the same RPM :\. i'm thinking that it is some kind of binding ( 2 am atm so can't quite see in there ) i was...

    Does Leaf Spring Brand matter?

no, but i'm sure relative to other amounts of springs 4.5 is going to be very stiff.

    Does Leaf Spring Brand matter?

you really want to make sure that you want a very stiff ride if you go with the 4.5 leafs ( i have those and love them ) i pretty much always recommend a mid eye as it's about the perfect height for our cars, and looks really spot on : ).
