    87 up 5 litre cars all came with a 2.25 lock to lock steering rack, 86 came with a 2.5 lock to lock, just tell the parts store that you need the 2.25 ratio rack they can figure it out form there

    ok think about this, the three bolts hold the strut upper mount which consist of bushing/spacer/DUST SLEVE/lower bushing and whatnot. if you think fighting the strut from out of the dust boot and the lower aarm and spindle go ahead, but i dont even think it will come out of there if the dust...

    unless the rearend was swapped into the 84/85 its not an 8.8, 8.8 rears started in 86. 85 and down have a 7.5 rear
