ok i know the axles are .75 longer, but how does it look from the rear with 17x8 rims, im thinking of going with the rear disc setup but this part has me worried it may look goofy, anyone one with pictures please post them so i can see what it may look like.

and any tips on how and what all I need for the setup would be appreciated.

thanks

I dont have pics, but if they are stock wheels, dont fear, it kicks them out a little, but looks a hell of a lot better than the tucked in look of the drum setup.

Mine are about 1" from the edge of the fender, but looks damn good.

I say go for it, you will love the look.

could you use ranger axels and keep the stock track width?

Ive just bought all my front 5 lug convertion parts and there on the way,
But the rear I want disk,

and I dont want the wheels sticking out and looking dumb either

I know loads of people here have done it,
What have you done to get round the problem,?

Used Ranger axels?

Here is my car with ranger axles which retains the stock axle length... I hate how sucked in they are, can I go 3/4" more, yes, I think so....

Don't mind the salt on my bumper, heh...

well im running 17x8 96 cobra rims with 245/45/zr17, any rubbing issues with these?

no rubbing issues with mine. 17x8 95 GT wheels here

only thing that i have an issue with, is at extreme lock to lock turning, there is a rub, but if you have a 91, you have rack limiters, so this wont be a problem for you.

go with the SN95 setup, and dont look back. the wheels will NOT stick out.

I bought rack limiters from ford that stopped this. and I don't have a 91, or a 91 rack, just so you don't fear it.....
