    Bucket + headrest seats in a '66?

I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably have to have the things reupholstered in order to make them fit my interior colors... but that just means I can get used ones with less-than-perfect coverings on them for cheaper... if I can find them. As for the 2001 Bullitt...

Best rear for a '66 coupe

OK, well then I guess the next step would be to figure out what kind of car to go searching for for a used 9...

    Bucket + headrest seats in a '66?

I'm looking to make things a bit safer for myself and add more form-fitting racing style seats with headrests and at least a 3-pt harness seatbelt (as opposed to the old style 2-pt that was stock) ... problem is all the seats i've seen don't match the car at all. I need to find something that...

Best rear for a '66 coupe

I'm seriously considering swapping my rear for some sort of trac-lock rear for performance purposes, but i don't really know where to begin. I know i saw on these boards a couple of months ago about someone spending $1200 for a good setup. Is this the average cost of such a thing, or is there a...

Went to NYIAS today, some GTR pics and info

I love a lot of the body enhancements they added with the GT-R, like the filled rear quarter windows, viper-esque vents to the rear of the front wheels, the wheels themselves are gorgeous, the modified front end style and the hood... I'd buy the thing as it is and modify it happily, mostly to...

    Steeda 05

Also look at the steeda logo hovering in the top right of the image. Definitely a crappy lo-rez pic enlarged beyond what it should've been. If steeda's art department did something that shoddy then I wouldn't want to buy any of their other handiwork...

Spy Shot of 06 Cobra Test Mule??

Its certainly possible that the light just hit the hood that way and since people were looking for discrepancies they tagged that as a photoshop sign... but that to apply I would at least expect the line leading up to the blank section to lighten a bit before disappearing... Still thats a pretty...

    05 mustang available?

Well I'm not the best source to find this out from but from what I've heard it's around 6 months from now, which would make it, what, September? Something like that, though I'll wager they'll still be hard to come by for a while after that.

    05 mustang available?

Punctuation is your friend. I saw some posts on here earlier about the transmissions, you should be able to find most of what you're looking for with the search feature, this forum has an insane amount of information on it already and it hasn't been up long at all.

    Remove Quarter or cut out?

I cut my quarters about this time last year just prior to repainting, and if you look closely now, a little bit of rust is already coming back. I keep the thing i a carport where it's pretty safe from the elements, so this seems a bit soon to me for the problem to be returning, but maybe my...

Problem: My horn sounds when I turn

It turns as it always has, but its just that at a certain point on a pretty hard left turn it sounds, but not completely consistently. Does this more often when the wheel is traveling back to center than when I'm making the turn out.

Problem: My horn sounds when I turn

I'm pretty sure I just replaced the cam anyway. And yes, I have a 1966 "Comet, Falcon, Fairlane, and Mustang Shop Manual", but I'm not finding much in here to address the problem...

Definitely my horn. Stock '66 wheel.

Problem: My horn sounds when I turn

I had to replace my turn signal/horn switch in my '66 in order to get the horn working again, which I've just completed. However now the horn sounds at times when I'm turning the steering wheel, which as you can imagine causes plenty of embarassment. Makes my car look "old" rather than a...

    Cutting Dash For Good Radio

Don't cut the dash. Have the deck installed in your glove compartment, the new head units have remotes anyway which work through the closed glove box door, and it's far less likely to get stolen because it's out of sight. Not to mention it preserves your dash.
