Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

Ok that's a thought. Yeah I capped off the pcv and plugged the throttle body ,also plugged the line going to the booster. But the idle seems fine until it reaches operating temp.

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

If I do in fact have a slight vacuum leak wouldn't that trigger a lean code and also would raising the fuel pressure compensate for a slight vacuum leak?

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

Mustang 5L5 have done numerous compression tests all cylinders are close to each other and around 150 psi. And as stated have performed smoke test which was inconclusive. The car pulls nice down low to the point she'll go sideways and all squirrelly shifting into second if I don't let up but...

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

Yes they are steel core. I've even tried stock gaskets I believe 9334s. One other thing is that once the car gets to operating temperature the idle gets worse. Btw no codes whatsoever. Passes cylinder balance test. So since the car idles worse when warmed up I really believe it's vacuum related.

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

Well I've been chasing the low vacuum for over 2 years. I've replaced the intake gaskets probably 4 times. Intake is new, (Edelbrock) heads are new (pro comp) I've pulled the intake 4 times with the same results fel pro 1250. TFS cam. Motor pulling around 12 pounds vacuum. This is a 95 gt. Car...

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

I hope it cures my problem. If not it's remove the heads time to check for core shift. The only other theory I have is vacuum leak into the crankcase but smoke test was inconclusive. I'm running a TFS stage 1 cam and I'm only pulling around 11-13 pounds but a lot of guys running that cam are...

Engine Running stock plugs in my aluminum heads

So I've been chasing a rough idle for over a year. I just found out that my heads require 3824s which are slightly longer and have a washer. Could running the plugs for the E7s be causing my rough idle and power falling off up top?

    Engine Drilled for 1/2" headbolts

I'm installing a set of ported E7s that are drilled for 1/2" inch on my 302. I'm running studs and I'm wondering if I'll need to use different washers or even bushings?

North East Anyone in PA with antique tags

Afain pennsy limits antique titled cars to driving in daylight hours however I doubt an officer would make it a big deal and I also doubt an officer would care or even know of restrictions in regards to mods . Maybe in more rural areas of the state they may be more by the book but imho officers...

Perhaps someone else more knowledgeable can chime in but I don't think any abs codes will show up from the icm. I thought that was a separate module.
