    Haha...well, we race from 70 to the top of fourth (~120). By the time we were at that speed there was prolly 4-5 cars on him. Maybe I should try him from a dig or a slower speed. :shrug: Still feels slow. Jake

    Yeah dude. I messed around with my buddys bolt on 96 "GTS". I didn't put as many car lengths on him as I expected. I need to get on the dyno to see where I'm at after some changes and tweecing. But that won't happen until at least next summer, if then at all. Jake

    I started with 100 grit. Got out the big imperfections. Moved to 320. Then 400 dry and then wet. Then I had these polishing pads that don't actually have grit counts to them. They came in medium, fine and extra fine. The extra fine was alot more fine than the 400 just by comparing it...

    Here's the deal. I see 11.53 volts from the batt when the car is running. I see 11.5 volts from the batt when the car is off. I see 11.8 volts from the alt when the car is off. I see 11.5 volts from the alt when the car is running. I think there is something wrong with my wiring...

    Also, when the car is running the volts from the batt are 11.53. And when I rev up the car the volts coming out of the alt don't change. This is a brand new alt too. Please help! Jake

    When the car is off and you touch a volt meter to the power cord on the alt and a ground it should be zero, correct? Well, mine says 11.80 volts. So does that mean I have a drain somewhere? When the car is running I touch the volt meter to the power and a ground and I get 11.50 volts or so...

    Has anyone used this stuff? I know JR has tried it. How did you apply it? Was it just the stuff in the picture or was it something different? Also, how should I polish an aluminum piece of exhaust pipe. I'm using it for my CAI, but it has a very dirty aluminum finish right now...
