    Sound deadener project

To make the redneck version a little more hi-tech you can get the Kool-Seal Xtra-Lite. It is similar to Lizard Skin as it has the microspheres in it. If the Kool-Seal works well, the Xtra-Lite would work really well. Disclaimer- I haven't actually used it yet, but from reading on other...

Experience with Restoration Shop brand BC/CC paint?

AWESOME! I really appreciate that. :hail2: Yeah their color charts are a joke, I got one it's not acutal chips of the color, just printed images of what the paint might look like and you're right, in the picture the flakes look large.

Experience with Restoration Shop brand BC/CC paint?

HA HA bass boat metallic, great way to describe it. I know this is asking a lot, but is there any chance I could get you to take a picture of the paint close up so I can get a better idea of how the metallic looks? Maybe with a quarter in the picture for size reference. I would greatly...

That is a sweet car! Are the chunks of metallic in the firemist pretty big? I saw another pic of a firemist color and it looks like a retro metal flake the chunks looked so big... Was it just a bad pic or are the chunks of metallic flake pretty sizable? Thanks!

Experience with Restoration Shop brand BC/CC paint?

I happened upon this website: http://www.tcpglobal.com/restorationshop/rspubprod.aspx (Part of Kustom Shop, TCP Global if that helps at all) Just curious if anyone has used this brand of paint and what feedback they might have. They sell a kit that includes: 1-Gallon Urethane...

    Heater Box Removal

I recently removed my heater box and had to go at the hoses with vice grips to "break the seal" then strong pulling and a flathead screwdriver to coax the hose off. I wasn't really to worried about damage to the hoses or the core as I am replacing both so that made life easier... Hope this...

    Full Restoration Break In Procedure

Thanks Rusty. I understand how to break the stuff in, my question lies on how to do all of it at the same time. My biggest concern is between the engine and the rear end. I am supposed to drive the engine like a raped ape to seat rings, but absolutely baby the rear end so I don't overheat the...

    Full Restoration Break In Procedure

That sounds a little hi-tech for my current knowledge base. Perhaps you have some more literature you could possibly refer? Maybe I am just worrying too much, I've used all quality parts and put them together the right way, no short cuts. Just git in and git r done?

    Full Restoration Break In Procedure

I am getting close to getting the ol' Stang back on the road after a complete uni-body off restoration (instead of frame off). New everything: engine, clutch, trans, rear end. From what I understand, the way you treat the new parts is very different for the engine compared to the clutch and...

    Clutch recommendation for 450fwhp engine

It's time to start shopping for a clutch to run behind my 450fwhp 331. I am going to run a T-56 to a 9" with 3.89 gears. I know of the usual suspects, Centerforce, Hays, Mcleod, Ram, Zoom. Most don't give horsepower ratings, but from what I have found looks like I want a combo organic and...

    Thoughts on Demon carb?

Same here man, I started having fuel delivery issues after having the Holley carb on for maybe two months, pulled the bowl off and it looked like someone poured a bottle of very course metal flake into the bowl... Luckily Summit was great about replacing the bowl no questions asked at no cost to...
