    A head unit should only need power and ground to turn on? I cut the wires from the old head unit and i cant get the new one to power on so i hooked the old one back up and now that one will turn on but the screen is super dim and wont do anything?

    I use switched power not constant for the radio? Which fuse in the fuse box is switched power? The aftermarket radio had two wires going from the head unit harness over to the fuse box. One was connected to #16 cig lighter and one was connected to #10 flash to pass/low oil level?

    Why are there wires for four speakers in the rear for a total of 8? Shouldnt it just be 6? dash,doors and rear?

    Was out looking at the wiring again. I traced the wires a previous installed used to hook up the head unit and found where he tapped into some factory wires but i dont get it? Iv attached a pic. When i first was looking at it i thought, "well ill just undo all that and reattach like factory"...

    That would be great. I cant seem to find a wiring diagram that matches my car. Some wires match some dont. Im starting to regret digging into this. The factory harness with the gray and black plugs have wires cut but there not tapped into?

    Iv had a issue with my battery draining. I put my meter between the neg cable and post and it shows a negative -12.xx? Should it show a negative if there is a draw? I removed fuses from under the dash one at a time and it never changed?
