Add a circuit?

Has anyone used the Add a circuit on there cars fuse box? Wondering if they fit with our fuse boxes?

Won't fit in my 89, cover won't attach of course, it may on the 90-91 up, the fuse box is under the dash I think, the cover still won't fit though. I used an inline fuse with a spade connector to plug into an unused spot.

Why on Earth wouldn't you just add another fuse box to the car in [the] most convenient location for [you].

A head unit should only need power and ground to turn on? I cut the wires from the old head unit and i cant get the new one to power on so i hooked
the old one back up and now that one will turn on but the screen is super dim and wont do anything?

There's usually a yellow (remote) wire that needs to be powered by an [ignition on] source.

Used the add a circuits and all is well now. The wire wrapped around the fuse prong must not have been getting a good
connection.
