    Does your tc have a drain on the face? I did this once, not through a hole in the flexplate, and it vibrated.

    High power 260/289's

    Dont know what constitutes a screamer, but my 289 sounds pretty wicked at 6600. Running hooker comps with 2.5" dumped magnaflows, with the edelbrock rpm package. I wish it had more low end though, but my 4.11s helped out quite a bit. Its especially cool at night when i bounce off the limiter...

    rear kyb shocks

    I installed 5 leafs and the ride was super harsh, so i took out my 3 year old rear shocks and installed some cheapie napa shocks to soften it up. These are good shape, with all washers, bushings, and nuts. You know what they are worth new, make me a resonable offer. Thanks. Mike

    i too have unisteer. pain to install and i had to reroute 1 header tube (hooker comps), but works great. I got it at the $570 price, so the few hundred saved, compared to now, was worth it. At the current price, i may consider the tcp and get on with it.

    Thanks for the replies. I have not taken any pics yet, but will soon enough. I got the grab a tracks from mustangs unlimited (local to me). I like the idea of those adjustable shocks, Ill look into it.

    I too just finished an 8.8 install. 86 rear into a 67. I rebuilt the traclok, put in 4.10s, moser 28 spline axles, rear girdle, and c-clips. The rears were virtually the exact same width (67 8").     Tire Rubs..

    I machined the front spacers for my mach 1s down to .800", which gave me that little bit of clearance. I had to also grind my upper control arms alittle, and no wheel wieghts on the inside lip.
