I took my stang to the track for the first time with the 331.The motor has been built for 3 years just never got down there. The car ran fine down the track then when I parked it I notice it was spewing coolant.I could not tell if it was from the bottom of the Thermostat housing or the top of the...

Turned out to be bad o2 sensor for me.Sounds like the same issue minus the blowing the fuse deal
My 331 with box stock afr 185 heads, fti cam,and performer intake made 300/330 on a dyno jet.Still needs alot of work due to 19lbs injectors and a stock mass air meter and a not so good intake.I kept the cr at 9:1 because a blower will be going on soon when i update the fuel system.Just wanted to...
I did almost this same repair on my girlfriends 85 Vert.It took a lot of time to make sure it was square and everything was the right height before we started to weld. When i did this Job i had an 83 vert,91 hatchback and a 79 fairmont wagon on hand to compare my numbers to.I know that those 3...

I know he has traveled over seas to tune cars before. If you are familiar with the 1400 hp twin turbo ford GT he tuned that car.His name is Tony Gonyon. He already lives in Florida so that may help.
Did anything else change are did you just do head gaskets? Just asking push rod length maybe?I would think with rockers all the way loose that the valves would not move at all.You never pulled the timing set right? Iam just brain storming here.
Thanks man!It was alot of work,i think it took about 5 hours to get it all fitted into place and doing all the measuring to get it square, before we started welding. The worst part of the job was drilling out all the spot welds to remove the old core support my god never again.
My Girlfriends 85 vert went into a ditch about a year ago,it got bent up pretty good.We brought it to a frame shop where the guy made it even worse. We decided to get a core support from the junk yard and fix it.I wanted to find another roller and do the swap but she will not part with her...
Had the same thing happen to me twice.First time was a bad ecu and the next time was the fuel pump itself. Its worth it to see if you have power even to the pump that should rule out everything else other than a bad pump.Good Luck
