i started to reassemble my GT-40 heads after a new valve job. i installed new teflon seals and valves. upon cleaning my 1.72 rockers and springs, i noticed that i have 4 different spring sizes at free height. 2 are about 1/4" taller than than the 8 exh and 3/8" taller than the 8 int. when i disassembled everything it was all labled. so to recap my 8 exh are 2.050, 8 int are 1.845 and the other 2 clearly dont even belong in the motor. they were all disassembled from the same (used) GT-40 heads, i had never had these heads on a motor before, but were assembled when purchased. i am going to be running a cam with .550 lift. (whew!) so i am looking for reconmondations on what type and size springs to purchase without breaking the bank. Thanks for looking.
