    Stang projects for this year

    help with removing starter

    PITA for sure! I dont remember how I did it but I used a 12in extention (I believe) and got the ratchet back far enough to be able to turn it about and inch at a time. Be glad you only have 2 the 4.6s have three and its worse than ours.

    I have a shortblock out of a 90 and I was wondering if I can use the oil pump and oil pan on my car? Or do i need to swap it over to the sn stuff? Thanks Garrett

    It will not hurt mpg, yes fuel pressure will go up. When I installed mine I jumped up 3 psi in fuel pressure. That is with stock heads and cam wit a 255lph.

    I was refering to a good susp setup for the strip. No you dont need adj control arms or tourque boxes welded. But to put up some GOOD 60's 1.5-1.6 that would be ideal. The reason I say weld the torque boxs is because with aftermarket uppers you will need them welded because of they are...

    Greasing a cam

    I will just use some motor oil. I wont have it put in the car till mid summer or so, but I can always drop some oil in the lifter holes before it goes in. Thanks guys

    Greasing a cam

    Do I have to grease the cam to put it in my motor? I know people do grease them but is it that important? I know you don't want to gouge the lobes or the bearing but I would think if done carefully you would not have a problem without greasing.
