    I don't know what the brand was, it was installed when I had the trans redone. Either way, I'm not putting another automatic transmission in. It would also cause problems with my carb setup.

    I do have a transcooler on mine. It is mounted right up front near my radiator.

    Idle issues, problems with the emission tube constantly breaking, o2 sensors not staying connected, it seems like the car stalls out when idling, etc...

    I have a Dry ZEX nitrous kit with purge, green 42lb injectors, professional products lower intake manifold for a 351 ... Interested in any for a trade for the transmission? Also, do you have the bellhousing? I'm 5 min away from Scranton, PA.. So it wouldn't even have to ship, we can meet.

    351C swap Q's

    You will need a different balancer, dizzy [or at least the gear] and since you're moving from a V6 you will need to upgrade your 7.5 rear to the 8.8 that the v8's use, but if you're upgrading the rear, might as well go with a 9". Also, do not stick with the v6 AODE if that's what your plans...

    Probably the wrong place to post, but can a T5 out of a foxbody work with a carbed engine? Would the computer even be necessarily then? I'm assuming the T5 isn't using anything with a computer, it just helps with the EFI to throw more fuel at the engine, due to a carb, it's no longer needed...

    Will a v6 trans fit a v8 car?

    My AODE has blown.. Again. [3rd or 4th time... I've stopped counting]:nono: I have a trans out of my old 1994 v6 mustang, will it bolt up or is it different? I just want to get the car back on the road.

    Hey guys, I'm back!

    I'm near Scranton, NEPA area. My sister is soon to be 20, has a 4 month old. I'm going to switch to a manual if my AODE is blown, I'm tired of dealing with it. Anyone here have information/parts needed on doing the AODE to T5 swap? And what am I looking at as far as cost?
