    Help with engine ID **UPDATED** So I searched and searched but I'm just confused. I have a 302 roller transplant in my 86. I pulled the starter and found the following numbers: A big 24, under that E7TE, and under that a small CA. I think its a 87 truck engine am I close? Thanks!

    Yeah looks like it, this thing was a real hack job by the previous owner. This is the first auto I've had hence the newbie question. Its going in the trash and I'm going T5.

    Yeah thats a good starting point. I have a 86 notch that was a 4 banger. It has a 302 out of who knows what (PO did the swap), but everything bolts up. On the V6 cars the K member is different. I'm going to run SN95 brake spindles and 04+ brakes up front, running a complete LSC rear end...

    I need to make some LED's flicker to create a "fire" effect. This is for a background effect behind a stereo system. Any ideas on how I can make that happen? Has to run 12 volt. I'm lost. Thanks
