    The girfriend says the cobra is idling high but i havent seen it yet. Im guessing a vacuum leak, what are other possibilites? The car is a bone stock 94 cobra. Whats the best way to find a vacuum leak if thats whats wrong, if i spray carb cleaner and if it revs higher while i spray then thats...

    Hatchback owners!!!

    i saw a coupe where a guy swapped in black interior from a hatch, the hatch seats left gaps on the outside of the seatbacks but it worked and the folded down.

    bent pushrods do I need to pull my head

    If you float your alves it could hang open til TDC and the piston would smack it but w/ 165's i would think its plenty of valvespring for a Bcam. Id say if its just a bent pushrod it was over revv'd. Its pretty common on LS1's not heard alot about it on 5.0's though.

    If you know you bent the valves then you need to pull the anyways. Id start by pulling the valve covers checking the pushrods and see if you broke a valvespring then onto pulling the head checking the valves and look at the pistons for contact.

    Now i understand i thought you meant the sleeve that goes in the bushing. I didnt have a cover for the rod on my stock shocks and the 50/50s didnt come with one i just assumed they didnt use them :shrug:

    Good to hear, did you use any of them plastic spacers for the springs? The uppers took 2 1/2 weeks to get them.

    Will the E cam work with this setup????

    The only thing i think might be a problem is the stock converter, im new to mustangs but i know on LS1's you need to get a higher stall to run almost any cam bigger then stock.

    Did you buy the 50/50's used? Mine came w/ new bushings different sized sleeves and hardware i think.

    nos ok with aod?

    It really seems to wake up the aod cars, theres 2 here w/ just mufflers gears and slicks running 12.80's and getting quicker from nitrous.

    Hooker Aerochambers

    Anyone using these mufflers, 1chambers and bullets are the standard here lookin for something a lil different. I've heard one on an LT1 and liked the sound but we all know the difference.

    Front Springs ****!!!!!!

    I did my struts and manual rack at the same time and never used a compressor. Undo the outer tierod, undo the top strut bolt and lower a-arm w/ the jack slowly swap springs jack it back and bolt it all back together. Probably have to mess with the brakes a lil bit too, i did it awhile ago.

    Wet or Dry kit?

    I already bought some NGK tr45's, new wires and other little stuff. Im leaning pretty heavily toards the wet kit side now just dont know whos kit to buy?

    The car is coming together pretty quickly now and im about to order my nitrous kit just undecided if i want a wet or dry. I like the simplicity of the dry kits but im afraid the 19lbers would be pushing my luck because i want to spray alot. Im pretty sure a wet kit is better for me just getting...

    Pour oil in strut? Odd instructions...

    I didnt see anything about oiling them, i dont know. Compress the strut all the way and the clip will let loose so you can take it off.

    Dowel on the cam swap?

    I went by O'reillys, autozone and local hotrod shop and noone had them :notnice: I keep soaking it in liquid wrench and about to try some more. This sucks i always get hung up on the lil stuff.
