    If it's not 1 thing it's another

My z bar is coming loose on the engine side. I can pop it back in but it won't stay after I push in the clutch a few times. What is causing this and what do I need to fix it?

    Another Edelbrock Carb Stumble Question

I had a similar problem and it was a wire bad connection to the coil posts. I would take off and it would start sputtering. I put on new connectors and it's been fine ever since. I know it doesn't explain the clicking sounds but it's worth looking into. I've personally never had any problem...

    E7 heads

I just got a pair of heads off a '90 GT with 80,000 miles on them for free. If I do some DIY porting and get them milled down ( how much would that take to get to what I have now? ) would it be worth my while? Current heads are '67 289 2V. Also, what would be a good cam with this and my...

    Speedo cable for t5 in a 66??

I put in a t5 and a 9" with 3.89's last fall and I finally am able to drive it now and WOW what a difference. Definately alot more fun to drive. Oh yeah, I previously had a 3 speed and 2.79 open rear. Well worth it and I even get a little better gas mileage if I keep off the throttle.

    clutch pedal travel

I had to adjust the cluch because I put in a new one. Right now it is adjusted so the trans doesn't grind when shifting. It works fine but obviously something isn't right. Maybe I'll just get a cable clutch setup.

    clutch pedal travel

Last fall I put in a T-5 with the original clutch linkage. I used the T-5 bell method and also put in a diaphram style clutch. I recently got the clutch adjusted so it shifts smooth but I only have about 4" of pedal travel. Does anyone know what the heck I did wrong here?

    bad vibrations

I got my car back from the shop on Sat. (not done yet but I kinda had to cause we got a few inches of snow today) and took it home. Once I hit about 50 the whole car starts vibrating and gets worse as the speed increases but goes away after the speed drops down. I'm beginning to think that...

    bad vibrations

Recently I installed a T5 and then took it to a shop to have my new rear installed. Everything is new or freshly rebuilt, except the axles. After they put in the rear and went for a test drive they noticed a vibration at approx. 55 mph on up. I had them take out the driveshaft so I could have...

    Flowmasters

I've got the Delta Flow 2 chambers and I love them. They are noticeable when driving normal yet are not too loud. I think they're perfect for a street car.

is it really that low??? cant figure it out

That's about how low mine sits too. It's BS that they can't get it on their alignment machines cause I've had mine done. There are cars out there that sit much lower than that. Keep checking around.

    reverse lights w/T5

Sounds easy enough....but which wire goes on which post. Also I am trying to find a dust boot that goes over the clutch fork. I found one at a Ford dealer but they want like $40 for it.

    reverse lights w/T5

OK, this is my last little thing I want to get done this year so I can just hop in it next spring and enjoy it. It's getting cold here...highs in the 20's on turkey day. How do I hook up my reverse lights to the T5 switch? Can I use the existing wires from the old switch? Do I really need...

    Spacer blocks

Yes it was the u joints that failed. I really don't want my rear to sit up any higher as I think it sits too high as is compared to the front.

    Spacer blocks

My mechanic is concerened that the blocks make the rear sit at a funny angle and was the cause of my driveline failure. So if I have him take these blocks out it will sit higher?

    Spacer blocks

I just recently had my new rear put in and my mechanic is concerened with the spacer blocks that go between the leafs and the housing. Currently these blocks are about 2" (I didn't take measurements). What size if any spacer blocks did a '67 coupe come with? I'd like it to be back to stock...

    400 HP 5.0 With A Stock Cam

In the article is said the engine was factory rated a 225 HP/ 300 TQ and all they did was freshen up the block and put on a carb, intake, and headers and they were at 278 HP and 315 TQ. This just doesn't seem right to me.

How much difference do gears REALLY make?

I'm getting my 9" w/3.89's installed on Monday. I can't wait to feel the difference along with the T5. Car was originally a 3spd. with 2.79 open.

Just saw a brand new 05 mustang in a parking lot today.

I got to check one out on Fri. at a local dealer. It's a GT with the 1000 watt system and the color changing dash lights. Very nice. :nice: Didn't get to drive one yet as they just came in like an hour before I got there and they were cleaning them up. Unfortunately they were both autos...
