If you ask anyone they will say go with Frpp myself included. I wanted to give the Motives a try and i have good results. I so think that gettin whine is from improper installation. When i was done with mine i really was thinking I would have whine but i got lucky  and they are good so...
I have no whine at any speeds atleat not loud enough to hear over my exhaust. As far as mpg I can't really tell I don't really have that many miles on them but if it does drop it will be very little
So i started installing my gears myself(i know ) on sunday. Had a few things to do so i got off track and just finished them up today. I used Motive 4.10s and bearing install kit with valvoline fully syn 75w90 gear oil with Ford friction modifier. All i can say is this should have been done...
this is my car with c springs. i have isos in the front none in the rear and cut one full coil off the rear to.. still have stock shocks and struts and it rides fine
i have them on my car. cut one coil off the rear and leave the isos out. if you dont the rear will sit about the same as stock. i will try to post pics of my car for you.
Changes the coil and the plug. There was no sign of moisture anywhere. The only thing I seen was the very small tip on the looked broken off put a new plug in and all was fine for about ten minutes then the miss came back. Any thoughts?
ok guys i checked all of the vacum lines and all are good. as i am in houston without my tools i cant check to cop or spark plugs. The miss stops when the car gets to its operating temp is this a sign that just my plugs are bad?
thanks for all the help. Srt the car looks great as always. is your paint code e9? i think thats what mine is and my paint is not near that smooth and deep.
